Hi Miss Barrientos, I am congratulating you for being such a beauty and a symbol of a strong and confident Filipina. I am really sad that you didn't make it to the top 15. But regardless of the result, I am really appreciating your great effort in showing to the world that Filipinas are one of the most beautiful woman in whole universe. I knew that the award isn't for Philippines yet. A new beauty title will come this year...for Philippines...that will come sometime this year! I can feel it!
Two of the most sought after guys in Taiwan and even in whole Asia, is currently visiting their fans here in the Philippines. Wu Chun, the lead actor of the ABS-CBN's (wooh.. Kapamilya) hit Taiwanese love story Hana Kimi, "The Original" (with stress and emphasis..) indeed making his Pinoy fans giggle and scream for his angelic face. Calvin is admired for his "cute smile" (as what my sister said..) and the unique contour of his face. Girls and gays and GUYS (I know you admire them too..don't deny it!) are really much happy to see their idols from across the seas to visit here for them.
The two singer/actors are having their tour here in the Philippines courtesy of ABS-CBN. With that, the two of them will be appearing on the shows of ABS-CBN. A while ago, they have just been interviewed by Toni Gonzaga and other hosts from Entertainment Live (they're lucky) and sang the theme song of Romantic Princess, a drama where Wu as the lead actor that is also a hit show in ABS-CBN now. You will see more of them tomorrow (of course, Philippine time) at ASAP and The Buzz! Just try to catch the schedules of the show.

If you can still remember, I've featured a young girl here in my blog named, Connie Talbot, one of the best finalist in the very big show Britain's Got Talent about a month ago. From then on, I am already following that amazing girl over Youtube and other shows where I can possibly see her and listen to her angelic and calm voice. I don't know but I really find her very adorable and very much lovable!
Gladly, I found again an inspiring video of her in Youtube during her visit at one of the most famous shows in Korea, the Star King. And in addition, with her is a young and talented blind Korean girl named Yoo Ye Eun who accompanied her while singing her version of You Raise Me Up. It's very touching. Watch this video.
FYI, the blind girl only listens to Talbot while singing the notes and then accompany her with the right chords. The blind girl really never learned the chords before. Amazing isn't it?
Hope to see more of Talbot in the future as a BIG Singing Sensation!
Now, let me start this post by asking you to differentiate "genius" from "gifted."
Yes, I know we don't have that very the same interpretation and meaning of those words in our minds. The word "genius" is as broad as "gifted" and "gifted" is as dynamic as "genius." But do we ever realize what makes these two words common? Did we really predict it so well how this two words be possible to define those 12-month to two-year old babies that indeed made them amazing?
Shocked? It was also my first reaction after seeing that smart baby pointing and doing the things written by the man or that maybe his dad on that small board. It's unbelievable at first but when the video continued to roll as I watch it, I slowly becoming convinced that it is possible to make a baby genius!
The video amazingly showcases brilliant babies taught using flash card method, multi-sensory and as well as computer software. When you teach your baby these good ways, there will always be a greater chance for them to be called genius and gifted! Just give them the chance to learn and LOVE learning.

Rob Knox, an 18-year old young actor, who plays a Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in the next Harry Potter film was stabbed to death last Saturday, May 24, 2008. London's Metropolitan Police stated that Knox got caught up in a fight outside a bar in southwest London.
Warner Brothers, the studio producing the phenomenal series, Harry Potter was shocked on the said news. Knox, is one of the actors who will be appearing in the sixth (Half-Blood prince)installment HP series set that was scheduled to be released this November.
Knox is just one of the five young men who were taken to the hospital after the brawl. And with them, is a 21-year-old guy who has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
London police has been alarmed for a number of violent teenage deaths and Knox is just one of the 14 who were killed so far this year.

Wow! American Idol Season 7 is almost on its way declaring its 7th grand IDOL! The next Tuesday night will sure mark a memorable event because of the two last men standing in this season! And yes, it'ds going to be DAVID v.s. DAVID!
David Archuleta, 17 year old guy, from Murray, UT, proved his worth and made his clear way to the big finale! His performances in this season was surely a hit one not just according to me, LOL, but also to all the fans of American Idol throughout the world! And ohw, not just the fans, but also the judges of the show!
David Cook, 25 year old man from Blue Springs, MO, also has grabbed the whole world's appreciation on his one of a kind voice! As a proof of his exellence, one judge commented: "See you at the finals!" And yes! Now, David wil be singing his last performance for this season tomorrow night on their finale!

The picture you see above is one of the most famous boy band in Korea! Yeah, they are one of those boys, singing, dancing and making videos that will surely quake the girls' world! These boys are becoming one of the most famous here in Asia. They have 13, yes, unlike other boy bands that has only 4 -5 members, this group has 13 young guys whose ages ranging from 19 - 24.
My classmates and other friends also are following these band. They, I mean, WE, watch their videos during overnights or sleepovers the night before an major exam. One friend told me that everytime she watches these boys performing, her energy becomes stable again and she is able to study well! Wohoo!
And so, thinking that my "other" friends will like these boys, I posted their pictures in the forums I joined! And hell yeah, most..I mean 90% of the comments in my post introducing these boys says that these boys are GAY!
How come they were so sure about that?
In my own opinion, these boys just look like gay because they are so white, they are so soft ( I mean they speak this way! ) and they like to make "pa-cute" in the cameras and fans! And that's their obligations, right? To look good and be appreciated!
Now I'm asking my blogger friends now, in your own opinion, ARE THEY GAY?
Just now, I found this young and amazing kid in YouTube singing the song HEY JUDE by The Beatles. The video did caught immediately my attention because of the kid's young age with her guitar prop! This is really really cute. Watch it.
The Philippines' very own Charice Pempengco again wows the world in her very jaw locking performance in the very famous talk show, Oprah. Last May 12, 2008, Oprah showcased some of the most talented and incredible kids all over the world and Charice is one of those. In the show, Charice showed the world her powerful voice as she sang the song I Have Nothing popularized by Whitney Houston. Also, during the performace of this young singing sensation, Oprah was caught mouthing the word, "WOW, WOW, WOW!" Charice's perfomance ended with a standing ovation from the audience of the show, appreciation of the whole world and lifting all Filipinos pride!
