Out of the Mundane

Just for the sake of those who still don't know, I own four active blogs. All blogs come with different topics. Meaning, it's a general and personal blog that talks about anything. I love to write about many things so why focus on one topic right? LOL.

So today, I'm gonna share with you one of my blogs. It's called Out of the Mundane. I got the name from my photographer friend. Some time during our college days, she joined this photo contest and made "Out of the Mundane" as the title of her photo set. I thought it was a good idea because the subjects were mundane stuffs. So I thought why not make a blog out of this name? So I did. Tadah! :))

Eating Dinner With My Family!

Wow! I really liked what I ate a while ago! It was "sarsado" for us this dinner! HEheh.. I really liked it because that was one of my favorite foods! I just loved it to the point that when I finished eating, I was really really full. I was so happy also since we ate together as one family, and as usual dad wasn't able to join us because he has to work..but I still totally understand him! But as of this moment, dad is home and he is now eating his dinner with my mother joining him in the kitchen!

Oh God, Thank you for this wonderful family! Thank you for the foods and all the blessings that we have received form you! I love you Lord!

Addicted to Blogging

When I started blogging last February this year, I really never find it very much exciting and worthy of my time. I did not get serious in making posts and even forget to update this blog. I don't know maybe I have just other things which I think need much of my time and attention.

But as months gone by, I started to visit other blogs and somehow appreciate their post most especially the blog designs. I am really having fun of making my own website but I am just so lazy that I have to delete that site in one of he free-web hosting over the Internet because laziness caught me.

As what I was saying, I started to appreciate other blogs aside form mine. I started reading their posts and observe other stuffs they put in their blogs. Surprisingly, I often found "Blogroll" sections on the other blogs and I was then curious about it. I started exploring it and amazed how blogs and bloggers are connected with each other through this thing called "Blogroll." Since I don't want to be left behind, I started creating my "Blogroll." I visited sites and blogs and ask for the so-called "exlinks" to those blogs that I thought would be great if added in my "Blogroll." I was never disappointed with the result. Then on I realized that almost all of the bloggers here in blogosphere are so friendly and very much hospitable. I discover new friendship. I meet people from around the world, I make "kumusta" to my "kababayan" abroad and was able to share my simple thoughts regarding the things that affect our daily lives dramatically.

For the five months of inactive and active blogging, I can say that at this very moment, I AM REALLY ADDICTED TO BLOGGING.

I was really irritated still from last night after I did some experiment configuring and editing this blog's template and only to know that because of that, I lost my banner.

Hahay, thank God after almost 15 hours of wondering and blaming no one but me, myself and I, I successfully returned this blog's usual setting. And I was really REALLY really happy about that.

The New Brother Blog of Tiklaton

Still Second Place

The Fruit of My Technorati Experiment

For about three weeks now, I took a SPARK in SocialSpark about experimenting the authority in my Technorati. I read the sites and blogs of those who joined the experiment and there's only one common feedback I observed, it says it was really effective.

So I joined and accepted the Spark. I followed the instructions given by the original maker and boom!, after he added me on the Master's List on his site, I can already really see my increasing authority. From 18, it then went up and up and even as high as 260 (this moment)!

It's a tag actually. It was indeed effective and has a positive result.

My Scrollable Blogroll

It's been several days already that I am thirsty to know how to make a scrollable blogroll. I've tried so many tags and lines of codes from my basic knowledge in HTML and CSS yet I really can't do it right. I am an IT student but I admit I am not perfect, just like you! :)

Moving on, I had also consulted my HTML/CSS/Programming Genius friend, Lemuel, regarding this simple problem. He did gave me some simple and very good advice and line of codes in order for my blog to look even better. I did somehow understand what he told me.

In addition to that, while I was browsing my own blog checking for new comments, I landed into my visitor, now my friend's blog after viewing the comment she made in one of my posts. And so I browsed her blog.

Luckily..tadah! In her blog, I found her article entitled Make A Blogroll With A Scrollbar. At that very moment I felt that it was the time for me to know how to make such thing. Weeii..

I understood what was written there and successfully made my own SCROLLABLE BLOGROLL! Lol.

Thank you so much Lemuel and Jojo for teaching me.
